Pacharán Navarro is a drink based on natural alcohols obtained from the maceration of sloes, with a final strength of between 25% and 30% of volume. The drink has a pleasant fruity aroma and taste, sweet, and with a touch of aniseed, red to bright pink in colour and very attractive in appearance.
GEOGRAPHICAL AREA
The production area covers the whole Autonomous Region.
BUYING GUIDE
Although there are no set rules about how to drink it, we suggest that you should drink your pacharán from a stemmed glass, and lightly chilled (between 3 ºC and 7 ºC). Some people keep the bottle in the refrigerator and others put ice into the drink, which makes the drink lighter and fresher in the mouth with the added water as the ice melts. If drinking with ice, a long or a wide glass is more usual. After lunch or dinner is a good moment to enjoy its aroma and taste; it is no surprise that this drink was originally considered a digestif, and pacharán is increasingly commonly drunk when on a night out.
